TERMS / EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 1, 2026

A clear starting point.
A shared direction.

No-charge crowdfunding interest

A pledge records an expression of interest only. We collect no payment information and charge no money. There are no rewards, equity, investment returns, tax-deductibility claims, reserved commercial rights or delivery commitments. Pledges are not money raised. Any future paid campaign requires its own terms and your fresh, affirmative payment choice.

Preview access

The free preview is an early-access demonstration of a prepared geographic sample. It can change or become unavailable and is subject to abuse and delivery limits. Coverage is incomplete and map information can be inaccurate or out of date. Do not use it for emergency response, safety-critical decisions, turn-by-turn navigation or as a substitute for local guidance. Track examples are source geometry, not calculated routes or verified directions. Transit positions, predictions and schedules may be delayed or incomplete; verify travel with the operator.

Product availability

The web SDK and map service are in pilot use. Commercial production access, support and service levels require a separate agreement. Roadmap items have no promised delivery date. This website does not license the private source repository or promise unrestricted data or SDK redistribution.

Sponsorship

Packages and prices are proposals. A request does not create a contract, reserve a placement or trigger a payment. Placements, rights, reporting, cancellation, tax and content requirements must be agreed in writing. Paid placements must be clearly identified. No sponsor can purchase access to personal user records or change map facts.

Data rights and promotional media

Map preview: © OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL produced work, via Protomaps; Natural Earth is public domain. Source attribution and rights. Software license notices. Preserve required attribution if sharing a preview. Generated presenter media, when used, depicts a synthetic spokesperson and does not establish a real customer testimonial. Product concepts shown in promotional films are illustrative unless identified as actual screen recordings.

Transit and road-work data

Transit scheduling, geographic, and real-time data provided by permission of King County. Data is provided as is and can change without notice. No agency endorsement or warranty is implied. This demo covers King County Metro data and some Sound Transit Express trips, not all regional operators. King County data terms. WSDOT road-work data is CC0 and does not provide live congestion speeds. USGS terrain is public domain and does not imply USGS endorsement.

Use and contact

Do not abuse the service, submit unlawful material or attempt to access another visitor’s records. Contact CFH at private contact form about access, content, pledges or business discussions. Applicable consumer and privacy rights remain in place.

Local business advertising trials

A request is not an approved advertisement or verified owner account. Applicants must be authorized to represent the business and license the submitted content. The team checks authority, content, mapped location and building/sign placement rights before publication. One 30-day no-charge trial per business location, with up to 25 active trial locations across the demo. No card, auto-renewal or payment is authorized. Proposed monthly prices are test offers for a later separately accepted agreement. Reach, store visits and sales are not guaranteed.

Virtual signs and building highlights are digital overlays in MapForHuman. They grant no physical signage or property rights, navigation priority, ownership, safety or accessibility certification. Building treatments may be unavailable where reliable geometry or appropriate rights are missing. Misleading content or disputed placements may be paused or rejected. Withdrawal removes the promotion from new map loads; cached or already-open pages may take a reload to update. Trial expiry is enforced when public data is requested.

There are no custom image uploads or live self-service edits of published copy. Ordinary local food, retail, services and community venues are eligible for review; regulated goods, political advertising, adult content and health/financial outcome claims are outside this initial trial. No sponsor may purchase source-map facts, transit priority, personal visitor data or guaranteed organic ranking. Report a concern through the feedback form.

Map data and local content

Each geographic dataset retains its source license or usage terms, accessible from the map’s information button. MFH styling, vector symbols, illustrative business photos, heatmap weights and simulations are separate original presentation content; their display does not grant a blanket data or artwork redistribution license. OpenStreetMap-derived geometry remains under ODbL 1.0 and USGS numeric terrain retains its public-domain status.

Imported tracks and drawings remain in your browser. You retain your rights and are responsible for the original creator’s license before sharing or redistributing a local file. We do not establish its upstream rights or upload the file. King County GIS permits copying, distribution and use subject to its terms, including a restriction on selling its information without a written agreement. Business placements sell presentation services, not ownership of source data.

Neighborhood activity demonstration

Seattle Fire Department dispatch records are obtained through Seattle Open Data, whose dataset is marked PublicDomain. We display selected dispatch classifications in approximate areas, not confirmed incidents, outcomes, active hazards or complete neighborhood coverage. Exact source addresses, incident identifiers and individual medical calls are excluded. Source times are Seattle-local timestamps and may be ambiguous during daylight-saving transitions.

Community activities and the optional crime-report scenario are fictional, visibly labeled examples. No live police feed, safety ranking, allegation about a real person or business, or emergency notification service is provided. We do not accept public incident reports, photos or suspect identification in this demo. Consult original agencies and organizers; do not approach incidents based on this map.

Dataset metadata and stated usage license · Seattle Open Data program. Agency names identify sources and imply no endorsement.

Developer API pilot

Email verification creates or signs you in to a developer account. Creating your first API key starts a 15-day, no-charge pilot. Keys expire at the original account trial end, including replacements. At most two keys can be active; limits apply to the account across all keys. The pilot currently allows 500 requests and 32 MiB delivered per account/day, resetting at 00:00 UTC, subject to shared service allowances and 200-account enrollment capacity. No card, purchase, automatic renewal or production SLA is included.

Keys authorize the prepared Seattle GeoJSON and available scoped Metro feed documented in the portal, and the bounded 50-mile directions/search queries documented in the portal. These keys do not grant the protected production SDK service, global compilation, background navigation, paid imagery, AI or custom model rights. Preserve all source credits and comply with linked data terms, including the required King County attribution. Feed availability/freshness varies and does not establish safe travel. Keep keys on your server, out of public code and URLs. Revoke compromised keys promptly. We may suspend abusive access or remove the pilot. Contact us for separately reviewed production access after expiry.

Seattle journey-planning pilot

Calculated walking, cycling, driving and supported transit journeys are limited to 50 statute miles from 47.6062, −122.3321. Data can be incomplete or outdated. Road times are model estimates without live congestion/closure input; ferry timetables are not included in road routes. Preferences influence routing and are not guaranteed exclusions. Transit results cover the services in the stated regional agency feeds and are subject to their usage terms and required attribution.

Routes and foreground browser GPS guidance are planning aids, with no offline, background, accessible-route, safe-route or emergency-service guarantee. Confirm entrances and restrictions, follow posted signs and road conditions, and set up controls before traveling. GPS accuracy and device voice availability vary. Sponsors cannot purchase preferred routing, stops or source-map facts. Public demos allow up to 30 calculations/browser/day; developer accounts up to 100, within the overall 500-request account allowance. Shared capacity and 1,000 calculations/day limits also apply. Failure, unavailable service or pilot expiry does not authorize a fabricated route.

Regional transit data terms

Using the individual Puget Sound agency datasets is subject to the full regional Transit Data Terms of Use, incorporated here for users receiving those data, and the separately linked King County terms. Read those source terms before relying on or redistributing the data.

Agency permission is limited and revocable. Data is supplied as available, without accuracy, completeness, fitness or infringement warranties. Providers may alter, limit or discontinue access. Agency names identify sources; their trademarks, logos and endorsement are not licensed. Malicious/criminal use and redistributing personal details of riders or transit workers are prohibited. The source terms contain liability limitations, including the regional agencies’ stated $5 limit, indemnity provisions and Washington law/venue requirements. Preserve these terms and all source credits when redistributing data. Nothing here expands an agency license or guarantees a trip, a connection or safe travel.

Regional schedules include Sound Transit rail, Metro, Community Transit, Pierce, Everett, Intercity, Kitsap and Washington State Ferries where represented in the loaded feeds. Predictions are available only from fresh matching feeds; other legs remain scheduled. No WSF GTFS live feed is represented.

Art Walk directory

This independent researched snapshot is not an official Art Walk participant roster or a live venue-status service. Venues and events may change; check their linked sources before visiting. Inclusion does not imply endorsement or sponsorship. Public facts and original short summaries are distinct from copyrighted venue artwork, photographs, logos and source-site descriptions, which are not licensed for reuse here. Map coordinates retain OpenStreetMap/ODbL attribution. Walking connections are model estimates, with no verified entrance, accessibility or safe-route guarantee. Optional saved venue IDs stay in your browser; Clear stops removes this shortlist.

The proposed Pioneer Square funding budget and milestones are planning estimates. No-charge pledges remain nonbinding and do not become payments or paid placement agreements. Paid collection, terms, fees and tax treatment require a later, explicit decision.
