A BOUNDED PROJECT. AN OPEN BUDGET.

What $7,500
would fund.

A 12-week pilot built on the map tools we already have. Most of the budget pays for careful design, local checks and human support.

Interest stage · $0 collected.
Pledges are nonbinding. No card, payment, reward or investment is offered today.

Planning assumptions updated November 5, 2026. Labor is budgeted at $75/hour; allowances are estimates, not supplier quotes. This funds the scoped pilot, with no lifetime service commitment.

FROM DEMO TO NEIGHBORHOOD PILOT

Four milestones.
Visible progress.

The directory demo is live. These proposed funded milestones cover venue participation, refinement and evaluation. The project clock has not started.

  1. WEEKS 1–2

    Listen & verify

Review 20 places directly with venues. Confirm addresses, event sources and any sponsor placement rights.

Evidence: a dated source and correction log.
  2. WEEKS 3–4

    Shape the guide

Refine the mobile directory, gallery filters, selected-stop walk and up to five reviewed sponsor locations.

Evidence: a working public pilot and placement review.
  3. WEEKS 5–6

    Try it together

Invite at least 10 people to test the guide. Fix navigation, readability and accessibility issues before wider sharing.

Evidence: findings and resolved usability issues.
  4. WEEKS 7–12

    Learn & report

Operate within pilot limits. Publish delivery costs, aggregate consented interactions and a continue, revise or close decision.

Evidence: a public outcome and spending summary.

Timing is a planning estimate from funded kickoff. Venue participation and event dates can affect delivery. Any material scope or budget change will be reported before further commitments.

FOR GALLERIES, CAFÉS & NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESSES

Be part of the evening.
Help make the map.

Support a useful neighborhood guide and explore a visible, clearly labeled place for your business.

YOUR PLACE

A pin with
personality.

A reviewed category pin, public business card and website link. Building color, gentle glow or a virtual sign can be scoped where geometry and rights permit.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION

Visible support
for a shared project.

Agree on a labeled project credit, placement, duration and approved message. Join a feedback session to help shape what visitors need.

YOUR LEARNING

Useful evidence.
Clear expectations.

Receive a scoped delivery summary and aggregate consented card-open and website-click counts. These are interactions, not verified visits or sales.

Try the placement before a paid decision. Our current program offers a reviewed 30-day no-charge trial after approval. Proposed future placement plans are $29, $79 or $149 per location/month. Project sponsorship is scoped separately by written agreement.

No signed sponsors or guaranteed audience are represented. Accurate directory facts remain free. Sponsorship does not change route recommendations or event information. Custom media, 3D creation, off-site promotion and ongoing service need separate scope.

What happens before anyone pays?

We confirm the legal operator, final budget, payment provider, fees, tax treatment, venue and content rights, delivery terms and refund/cancellation policy. No pledge converts automatically.

What if the project changes?

We will publish a revised scope and budget before opening a paid campaign. You can withdraw your current expression of interest through the privacy page or by contacting the team.

Is this the official Art Walk map?

This is an independent MapForHuman demonstration. First Thursday is an existing community event. Venues choose their own participation and hours; listing a place does not imply a partnership.
